Community
A real sense off community has always been a part of rural life and Byford is no exception. It has a rich social fabric with many established networks. The people have a full history of creative pursuits, a strong connection to the natural environment and a celebrated village life.
Byford Central is nurturing a lasting relationship with the local community by working carefully to integrate our new development. We are positively engaged in building on the many existing strengths of this vibrant and active community to offer all our residents a distinctive and rewarding quality of life.
Byford is part of the Peel Region which has the highest projected growth rate in WA. It is predicted that the region will grow by 135.7% between 2001 and 2031, (the regional WA growth rate average is 66%, and the State average is 52.6%) *. This growth is due to the area's close proximity to Perth, good housing affordability and lifestyle attractions. Future extensions to the Kwinana Freeway and the planned passenger rail will improve accessibility and employment opportunities.
